Rug Padding is Essential

By using rug pads underneath all your rugs, you’ll improve the feel of your rug while also reducing wear.  The padding absorbs the impact of footsteps that would otherwise crush the fibers into the hard surface underneath it.  Rug padding will also give the rug a more cushioned feel and help reduce any shifting or movement of the rug.

There are several types of padding that can be used, depending on the size, type, and location of your rug.  For smaller rugs, non-slip padding can be used to keep the rug in place.  For larger rugs, we can provide you with either non-slip padding or a standard cushion.  For area rugs located on wall to wall carpet, we have double-stick padding options to help keep your rug from buckling and shifting.
